A Fabulous Thrift Store Find!

I recently did another Outfit Of The Day video, and during this video I was wearing a purse of mine that I purchased at the thrift store not too long ago. I forgot to show much of the purse, because during the video I was so focused on the clothing I was wearing. My bad ^_^
One of my lovely subscribers, Tolight16, mentioned wanting a better view of the purse, so here it is girl!

Not too shaby, eh?

It's become a staple accessory of mine for this Spring! I purchased it at my local thrift store for under $10 (I forgot the exact amount..my bad..again! Lol!). I think the quality is great, and it's leather so it's going to last me a while.

It even comes with a mirror attached inside! How cool is that?!

And here's the Outfit Of The Day video where the purse was featured!

Have any of you had any cool thrift store finds recently?

Maybelline COLORsensational Lipstick In Coral Desire: Swatches & My Thoughts

Has anyone else seen the new (to me!) Maybelline Spring display? The one with two nail polish colors, two new lipglosses, and two new lipsticks? I just came across the display recently while I was at Walgreens. I should've taken a picture...darnnit! The display wasn't too special or anything. The polishes looked frosty...yuck. And the lipglosses looked pretty dupey..yawn. However, there was a lipstick in the collection that caught my eye...

I've really been digging coral lipsticks lately! Actually, anything coral is catching my eye..coral nail polish...lipstick...eyshadow, you name it! Lol! So as soon as I saw that this lippie had "coral" in it's name, I knew I had to try it out.

It looks great in the tube, right? When I opened it for the first time, I was beyond excited to swatch! And then...

Beautiful coral color, where'd you go?! :(
As you can see in this swatch, this lipstick is pretty darn sheer! This pciture was taken in the shade.

This picture was taken in the sunlight..even worse!
Don't get me wrong, this is still a beautiful lipstick. I actually really like it! I just wish it was more pigmented =(
However, it is VERY moisturizing! The first time I applied it, my lips were yucky and chappy. This lipstick actually worked like a chapstick, and added color, shine and moisture to my lips!
So all in all, I would recommend this lipstick to anyone looking for a lip product that'll give a nice coral and gold shimmery sheen to your lips. BUT if you're looking for full on coral lips, don't even bother.I like this lippie...but I don't love it.

Let's end this post on a positive note with my song of the day!!!

this song is BEYOND awesome..such a great collab! LOVES IT

NEW American Apparel Neon Nail Polish Colors For The Summer!

FML....
Why did I just find out about these new neon American Apparel nail polishes today? So, American Apparel has released some awesome neon shades for the summer; Neon Orange, Neon Violet, Neon Green, Neon Coral, Neon Red, and Neon Yellow. These bright neon colors are limited edition, and perfect for the upcoming season! HOWEVER...seemingly, these polishes were released today (or yesterday..I'm not sure which) online and the Neon Red color is already sold out ='(
I don't know about you ladies, but that's the one I want the most! And to top it off, there is no American Apparel store anywhere near me. So...yea..FML. I'm going to have to wait for the color to go back in stock online (if that ever happens...). If any of you want one of the beautiful shades, I'd say don't hesitate!
Are any of you guys interested in the new American Apparel nail polish colors?

Because of the sunny weather we had yesterday, I was inspired to wear an equally "sunny" color on my nails! I chose Sinful Colors yellow in Let's Meet!

Sinful Colors polishes are $1.99 at Walgreens and Rite-Aid stores. Such a great bargain for such lovely colors!

I love how shimmery and fun this color is! Doesn't it just remind you of sunshine & spring time? ^_^

MAC Quite Cute Haul, Swatches & Review!

Hey loves! Mac's Quite Cute collection is out!! ♥
I had been waiting for this collection to release for months & months!! I am a lover of all things pastel and cutesy, so this collection was totally up my alley! To see the haul video I did for this collection click HERE!

Mac's description of Quite Cute:
" 'CUTE!' The most fanciful, fun and flattering compliment a young, modern trendsetter could ever want! Our version is the girliest kind of international glam possible, a style ride that combines postage-stamp-sized puppies with pixie swizzle-stick fashion and butterfly kisses for cute boys and even cuter shoes! Cupcake icing colours, vintage romance, an ATM card with Hello Kitty on it – and a way of life that says “yes!” to everything adorable! Come on, get happy, with the multi-culti cutie, from Tokyo to Toronto to Paris with love! Pastel shades for Eye Quads, Lipstick, Plushglass and Nail Lacquer…And, due to popular demand, we’re completely cute-ifying three favourite Lip Pencil shades from last season that will join the fun and frolic. Flash! You’ll ♥ the Mineralize Blush with the sweet heart baked right into it. If it shines, shimmers and pops it’s completely, contagiously, cute! "

Out of this collection I purchased two lipsticks, a blush, and the quad.
I got Play Time and Candy Yum Yum lipsticks.

Candy Yum Yum is the super bright, neon pink to the left & Play Time is the purple to the right.
And here's swatches:

Play Time is a cremesheen lipstick, so it's moisturizing and slightly sheer. I'm totally gonna use this up within a month or two :'(
I can't find a back up ANYWHERE!!
As for Candy Yum Yum, it's a lovely NEON Matte lipstick. No sheen, yet it's still moisturizing to me. I suggest exfoliating before application though. With matte lipsticks, you always want to exfoliate before application so that the lipstick doesn't highlight any imperfections.
Candy Yum Yum is my absolute favorite item out of the collection, hands down! I love it!! Helloooo..it's a neon pink lipstick ^_^

The blush I picked up was the pink blush of the collection, called Giggly.

This blush is such a lovely soft pink! It's soft, but it's still pigmented. As for the heart in the middle, I totally forgot to swatch it..sorry luvs! If you really wanna see it, just let me know.

This quad consists of lovely pastel colors that are perfect for Spring!
The colors are as follows:
Moshi! Moshi! - Pale white green gold
Goody Goody Gum Drop - Light white pink
Boycrazy - Pale lavender with silver pearlized pigments
Azuki Bean - Mid-tone violet

My favorite colors from the quad would have to be Moshi! Moshi!, Boycrazy, and Azuki Bean! Those three were the most pigmented out of the four colors.

These colors are more pigmented than this picture makes them appear to be! UGH!
Just imagine them to be a bit more brighter and deeper colors than this picture shows.

Overall, I was very happy with my purchase! As a matter of fact, I'm waiting on Playing Koi, a peachy nude lipstick from this coloction, to arrive to me in the mail. I'll try to have a swatch up when it arrives =)

And lastly, here's the FOTD I created using the everything I purchased, except for Play Time!

What did you guys think of this collection?

I can't believe I haven't blogged all week! What the hiz-eck....
I could've sworn I...
OK, I must be tripping..sorry loves! How about pics of my favorite peachy-pink polish ever??? Just...ignore my cuticles...

This is Sweetie Pie not in direct light. The first pic is the most color accurate, if you're wondering. I love love LOVE this color!

Did I ever tell you beautiful people that pastels colors are my favorite colors? No? Well, now ya know ^_^
I actually have quite the list of favorite colors..I was always the kid that never had just one favorite color. It's always been way too difficult to choose just one! Yea..I'm a weirdo.

Now, I shall leave you guys with my "Jam Of The Day". This song is so awesome...

E.l.f. Cosmetics: Candid Coral & The Blush/Bronzer Duo

Hey peeps! If you saw my recent Target haul video, you already know how happy I was to find e.l.f. cosmetics products at my local Target. I picked up two products of theirs, a blush in Candid Coral, and their blush/brozer duo. Can I just tell you all how LOVELY their blushes are?! They are AMAZING. And for the price??? *faints* Each blush is 3 dollars. Yes. THREE BUCKS. E.l.f. definitely gives you some bang for your buck, let me tell you...

This is the e.l.f. blush in Candid Coral. This blush is just gorgeous! My swatch does this baby no justice at all.Remember in my video how I complained about how it didn't seem pigmented when I was trying to swatch it for you guys? Oh, how wrong I was! Using a blush brush, you get all the pigmentation you need, plus some! This blush is also more coral than my picture makes it out to be. Plus, is has a  lovely golden sheen to it! Very similar to the sheen of Nars blush in Orgasm.

For the blush/bronzer duo from e.l.f, I have nothing but good words, yet again! Both the blush and the bronzer are very pigmented. And just like Candid Coral, the blush provides a nice golden sheen. The bronzer shade is the perfect color for contouring. Both the bronzer and the blush have shimmer though, so it you want a matte bronzer, this is not the one for you.

The swatches were waaaay more pigmented in real life. I just couldn't get the pigmentation to show up on camera =(
Sorry about that guys!
I seriously think e.l.f. has won me over with these blush products!!
If you guys haven't tried e.l.f. yet, you probably should now since it's readily available at a Target near you! ;)
