I have not been excited about flats in a long LOOOONG time...
that is, until I saw THESE babies!

They are indeed shoes shaped in the form of a mouse, but not just any mouse! These shoes are shaped like an edgy, fierce studded mouse! :)
These shoes are by the brand Bumper, a shoe brand I had not heard of until I found these lovely creatures! These shoes are called the Bumper Sappi Studded Flat.

As soon as I saw these shoes, I knew they were meant for me. However, it was upon further inspection that I realized these shoes reminded me of shoes I had longed for previously but never purchased because of the price...

The shoes I purchased are the budget-friendly version of the Marc By Marc Jacobs Mouse Flat!!!
The Marc By Marc Jacobs Mouse Flat sells for $250, while the Bumper Sappi Studded Flat was only $26 total, after shipping, because of a 20% off code I used!
The only difference I can tell between the two versions of the mouse flat shoes is that the Marc By Marc Jacobs version is made of leather, and the Bumper version is made of velvet! I CAN DEAL
♥ ♥ ♥

I am overly excited about the Bumper mouse flat, I admit! I can't believe that FINALLY a dupe of the Marc By Marc Jacobs Mouse Flat has hit the streets! I've had my eye on the Marc Jacobs version for ages, but the price was not a price I was willing to pay (250 bucks for a pair of flats? NO THANK YOU...). Thankfully, now I won't have to! :D
If you're interested in the Bumper version of the mouse flat, I found them HERE!

What do you think of these Bumper shoes?
Have you ever owned any shoes by this brand before? If so, how did you like them?
If not, are you interested now?
As far as I'm concerned, Bumper has gained a new fan!

MAC Hey Sailor Haul, Thoughts, + Swatches!

Another year, another Mac summer collection!

Mac summer collections are usually my favorite makeup collection of the whole entire year, BUT this year I was quite disappointed. :(
And I say that as a certified MAC ADDICT.

This year, only 2 products tickled my fancy...those products being the Fleet Fast powder blush, and the Crew highlight powder!

Here is Fleet Fast blush!
This blush is SO gorgeous, I kid you not! It's a beautiful dark coral color with golden shimmer.

You can actually see the golden shimmer in this picture! SO LOVELY!!

Crew highlight is probably going to be my favorite highlight this summer! It's basically 3 - 4 products in 1, depending on how you look at it. The highlight has three different surface colors, plus the beige highlight overspray. My only issue is that the beige highlight is an overspray, so eventually you'll run out of highlight powder, and only be left with the three blush-like colors. Lucky for me, I really like the three colors! ^_^

The purple is more of a lilac purple, the pink is your basic shimmery light pink, and the orange is like the orange of a cream-sicle pop!

Here's swatches in the sun! R-L: Fleet Fast, Crew (lilac, pink, orange, beige highlight, mixed)

And here's the swatches under florescent light!

Overall, I feel like I picked some EXCELLENT products. I love the two products I bought. I also just bought Riviera Life lip glass, but I have to wait for it to arrive...BOO :(

Here's my haul video! ♥

If you purchased anything from this collection, what'd you get and what did you think about it? Please share your thoughts below! =)

My new love...REVLON COLORBURST LIP BUTTERS!!!

I need to personally thank Revlon. Seriously. They have made my lips verrrry happy!

I found these beauties at Walgreens last night, and guess what? This week at Walgreens, Revlon is buy 1, get 1 half off! You guys know I was a happy camper!! Lol!
I bought Strawberry Shortcake, Sweet Tart, Candy Apple, and Red Velvet.
FYI: The Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters retail for $7.49 each.

I love the semi-translucent caps of the lip butters! Very cute, don't ya think? The quilted pattern on each cap is typical of every Colorbrust lip product Revlon sells.
I've heard rumors of these babies being permanent, so let's hope that's true because they are amazing!

These lip butters are GREAT. Initially, I didn't think I'd like them because they are indeed a bit sheerer than a lipstick. Yet, they feel SO amazing on the lips! They are very very VERY moisturizing, and the texture of them is very creamy and nice. The pigmentation is not a big deal. Yes, they're a bit sheer, but you can always build up the coverage of the product.

I only have one swatch for you at the moment because I'm supposed to be getting ready for a bar-be-que..lol. Here it is ^_^

This is a swatch of the ColorBurst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake!
It's a beautiful light pink! It's perfect because it's not too light. It's just right. As you can see from my swatch, the pigmentation is pretty good as well!

Above is another swatch, but this time in the shade. So far, this is my favorite of the four. I'll try to have more swatches soon!

What do you think of these lip butters? See any colors that tickle your fancy?

XoXo

Wet N' Wild Dream Weavers - We're Blasting Off (Swatches & Makeup Look)

I will never be able to proclaim my love for Wet N' Wild enough...never ever ever..EVER.

Recently, they released the Dream Weavers collection. It's a collection of 6 different, limited edition eyeshadow trios. Luckily, I was able to find all 6!
I plan on doing future makeup looks or tutorials with these trios, and the first one I chose to use was the We're Blasting Off trio.
We're Blasting Off is the "tamest" of all 6 of the trios.
A light bubble gum pink, a brownish burgundy with pink shimmer, and a light champagne color are what's included in this trio. My only complaint is that the light pink color is slightly chalky. Besides that, though, this is a great palette.

For this makeup look you see to the left, I used all Wet N' Wild products on the eyes, with the exception of liner, mascara, and lashes.
products used for this makeup look:
eyes
urban decay primer potion
nyx jumbo pencil in milk
wet n' wild single e/s in Brulee
wet n' wild palette in Vanity
wet n' wild trio in We're Blasting Off
urban decay 24/7 zero liner
beauty supply lashes
face
mac pro longwear foundation in nc40
mac msf in medium/dark
mac giggly blush

lips
rimmel pink blush lipstick
Here's the tutorial for the makeup look using the We're Blasting Off trio!

Mac Semi Precious Collection: Swatches & My Thoughts

Hey peeps!
Guess what happeend to me yesterday? For the first time ever, someone STOLE a package of mine!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!
So all day, I've been...

Yup. That pretty much explains how I felt all day. Inside the package this thief freak'n stole were two very hard to find nail polishes....one was Essie's Cindy-rella, a polish I've been searching for for months now, and the other was a polish by Elizabeth Arden, a company that doesn't even MAKE polish anymore! *weeps*
Why must some people be so cruel, unkind, and stupid? I just don't get it...

Alrighty... enough of my pity party!

As you guys know if you saw my recent mac haul video already, I made a purchase from the Mac Semi Precious collection. My purchase was small compared to a lot of other people, but these eyeshadows were not cheap!

From this collection I got:  Golden Gaze, Smoked Ruby, Blue Sheen, & Gem of Roses!

Here's the swatches:
from L - R: Gem of Roses, Blue Sheen, Smoked Ruby, Golden Gaze

I loved all the shadows! They all had EXCELLENT pigmentation and staying power. But the star of the show had to be...

  GOLDEN GAZE!!!!

I would probably marry this eyeshadow if I could...just sayin'...
I already did a makeup look with this lovely shadow that you can check out HERE!

Soooo basically, grab Golden Gaze while you still can! Gem of Roses lipstick is nice, but not a MUST-HAVE. The other eyeshadows are great too, but probably more difficult to integrate into an everyday eye look. Which is why I like Golden Gaze so much..*hugs Golden Gaze*

Did you pick up anything from the Semi Precious collection? If so, what'd ya get? If not, what would you like to get?

Mac Surf Baby Haul, Swatches & Review!

Hey loves! I finally have received everything I purchased from the Mac Surf Baby collection, so that means HAUL, SWATCHES & REVIEW!!!

I purchased one lipstick, three eyeshadows, and a blush. I've been eying the Surf The Ocean Pigment Stack that was also released with this collection, but every time I'm ready to purchase it it's sold out =(
*sad sigh*

The only lipstick I purchased was Hibiscus. Hibiscus is a lovely coral-y red lipstick. It's a cremesheen lipstick, so it slightly sheer but still moisturizing.

The only blush released in this collection was My Paradise. It's a coral blush, with a thick gold over-spray.

And here's swatches of both My Paradise and Hibiscus:
My Paradise on the left (over-spray & blush mixed, blush, gold over-spray) Hibiscus on the right

On to the eyeshadows!
Here's Sun Blonde

Swell Baby

Surf USA

And here's swatches of all three eyeshadows
L to R: Surf USA, Swell Baby, Sun Blonde
Finally, here's swatches of EVERYTHING

My favorite eyeshadow of the three I purchased is Surf USA. All of the eyeshadows are pigmented, but I feel like Surf USA had the best pigmentation.

My favorites from this entire collection are undeniably Hibiscus and My Paradise. I love how My Paradise looks on my skin tone, and Hibiscus is flattering on everyone! I also believe My Paradise works on a wide range of skin tones!

Lastly, here's my haul video of the Surf Baby collection
What did you guys think of this collection?

MAC Quite Cute Haul, Swatches & Review!

Hey loves! Mac's Quite Cute collection is out!! ♥
I had been waiting for this collection to release for months & months!! I am a lover of all things pastel and cutesy, so this collection was totally up my alley! To see the haul video I did for this collection click HERE!

Mac's description of Quite Cute:
" 'CUTE!' The most fanciful, fun and flattering compliment a young, modern trendsetter could ever want! Our version is the girliest kind of international glam possible, a style ride that combines postage-stamp-sized puppies with pixie swizzle-stick fashion and butterfly kisses for cute boys and even cuter shoes! Cupcake icing colours, vintage romance, an ATM card with Hello Kitty on it – and a way of life that says “yes!” to everything adorable! Come on, get happy, with the multi-culti cutie, from Tokyo to Toronto to Paris with love! Pastel shades for Eye Quads, Lipstick, Plushglass and Nail Lacquer…And, due to popular demand, we’re completely cute-ifying three favourite Lip Pencil shades from last season that will join the fun and frolic. Flash! You’ll ♥ the Mineralize Blush with the sweet heart baked right into it. If it shines, shimmers and pops it’s completely, contagiously, cute! "

Out of this collection I purchased two lipsticks, a blush, and the quad.
I got Play Time and Candy Yum Yum lipsticks.

Candy Yum Yum is the super bright, neon pink to the left & Play Time is the purple to the right.
And here's swatches:

Play Time is a cremesheen lipstick, so it's moisturizing and slightly sheer. I'm totally gonna use this up within a month or two :'(
I can't find a back up ANYWHERE!!
As for Candy Yum Yum, it's a lovely NEON Matte lipstick. No sheen, yet it's still moisturizing to me. I suggest exfoliating before application though. With matte lipsticks, you always want to exfoliate before application so that the lipstick doesn't highlight any imperfections.
Candy Yum Yum is my absolute favorite item out of the collection, hands down! I love it!! Helloooo..it's a neon pink lipstick ^_^

The blush I picked up was the pink blush of the collection, called Giggly.

This blush is such a lovely soft pink! It's soft, but it's still pigmented. As for the heart in the middle, I totally forgot to swatch it..sorry luvs! If you really wanna see it, just let me know.

This quad consists of lovely pastel colors that are perfect for Spring!
The colors are as follows:
Moshi! Moshi! - Pale white green gold
Goody Goody Gum Drop - Light white pink
Boycrazy - Pale lavender with silver pearlized pigments
Azuki Bean - Mid-tone violet

My favorite colors from the quad would have to be Moshi! Moshi!, Boycrazy, and Azuki Bean! Those three were the most pigmented out of the four colors.

These colors are more pigmented than this picture makes them appear to be! UGH!
Just imagine them to be a bit more brighter and deeper colors than this picture shows.

Overall, I was very happy with my purchase! As a matter of fact, I'm waiting on Playing Koi, a peachy nude lipstick from this coloction, to arrive to me in the mail. I'll try to have a swatch up when it arrives =)

And lastly, here's the FOTD I created using the everything I purchased, except for Play Time!

What did you guys think of this collection?
