NOTD: Sinful Colors In The Mist (from the Enchanted Collection!)

Don't wake me up, up, up, up, up, up....
Don't wake me up, don't wake me...
I don't wanna fall, fall, fall, fall asleep...
I don't wanna fall, unless I'm falling for GREEN!

He he he...yea...I love green polish, and this baby, here, is NO exception!
All Fall long, I've been wearing dark colors on my nails, and even my clothes (surprisingly). Usually, I don't let the seasons determine my color palette as far as makeup, nail polish, and clothing is concerned.  I have no idea what has taken over me this year, but I'm totally on a seasonal color scheme, and I don't mind it at all... :-\

This polish is In The Mist by Sinful Colors. It's one of the new polishes Sinful Colors released for Fall 2012, from their Enchanted Collection.

I love the murkiness of this polish! "Odd" colors always have a way of tickling my fancy (LOL).

I noticed how In The Mist looks different in each of my photos, but the first one is the most color accurate.
This polish only needed 2 coats to reach the opacity you see here! YAY!!! I love 2-coaters!

This polish is available at Walgreens and Rite-Aid, for only $1.99! \o/

What do you think of In The Mist? Perfect greenish-grey creme? Too dirty lookin' for your taste? Let me know below!

NOTD: Sinful Colors Muse (from the Enchanted Collection!)

After my last video, I had a few people ask me what I was wearing on my nails. Well, the wait is OVA peeps!

On my video That's That Stuff I Don't Like Tag, I was wearing Sinful Colors Muse, from the Enchanted Collection.
Muse is a dark grey creme polish, with a tinge of purple to it. Purple is one of my favorite colors, so you already know this polish is awesome to me.

For the opacity you see here, I only used 2 coats of polish! \o/
I love a good 2-coater...

This polish is available at Walgreens and Rite-Aid. If you like it, I say grab it FAST, because it's limited edition and only $1.99!!!

What do yo think of Muse? Lovely & dark? Or too dark & murky? Let me know below!

Tribal Print Leggings OOTD + Revlon Chili NOTD

HELLOOOOOO SEPTEMBER!

Can you guys believe it's September ALREADY?!?! I sure can't! It was just the beginning of August, I swear....
Time sure flies...and I'm getting tired of it! I wish it would slow down, for once :(
I'm excited for Fall, buuuut I'm gonna miss the Summer more than Rihanna misses Chris Brown :'(

Ah dah well...

Wanna take a look at what I wore during a musical event this weekend?

As you all know, I love mixing colors and prints together in different outfits! I'm guilty of doing that, yet again, with this outfit. I had to spice things up a lil' before the summer ended completely...
FYI, printed leggins & pants are a MAJOR trend this season! ;)

top - H&M
tribal/aztec print leggings - Silence & Noise (Urban Outfitters)
mint/sea foam green wedges - Deena & Ozzy (Urban Outfitters)

Now, for the nail color I've been wearing all week!

As far as I'm concerned, Revlon is continually WINNING!
This is Revlon Top Speed in Chili.

This red hot nail color is perfect for this upcoming fall season. Perfect, I say!

I believe I used four coats of polish to get the opacity you see here. Chili has a jelly finish, so it takes 4-5 coats to reach full opacity. I'm a big fan of jelly polishes, so I'm used to the extra coats that are necessary for no VNL (visible nail line).

I hope you guys like this outfit, and the lovely Revlon nail color! I also hope you're not missing Summer as much as I am :P

NOTD (Or More Appropriately, NOTW/Nail Of The Week): Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty!

I never thought I could love a yellow polish so much....

UNTIL NOW!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polish in Yellow Kitty is, hands down, my favorite yellow nail polish of this summer!
As some of you know, pastels are a favorite color group of mine. Pastel yellow is exceptionally ahead of the game in pastels for ME. I can't get enough of them! I love this polish so much, I've been wearing it all week!

A big let down is that Yellow Kitty is not as dreamy in application as it is in color :(
All I got was a streaky mess on my nails until the 3rd coat of polish, but for this color, I'll endure the painful application.

I especially loved wearing this polish with this outfit!
(blouse: thrifted, shorts: forever 21, necklace: jewelmint)

The contrast of the yellow and the blue was dreamy!

Have you rocked yellow nails recently? Are they a hit or miss for you? Let me know your thoughts below!

NOTD: Revlon Sublime Strawberry

Because of this Nail Of The Day, I was sniffing my nails in public. Yes, it may sound cray-cray, but let me explain...

This nail color is Revlon Sublime Strawberry, one of Revlon's scented nail polishes! It smells so yummy, I couldn't resist sniffing my nails almost every time I looked at them. =P
It smells like Trident strawberry gum to me, which just happens to be one of my favorite gum flavors! LOL!

The lovely bubblegum pink color, along with the multi-colored shimmer, help to make this polish a winner in my book. The amazing scent of it helps a lot, too! Absolutely a new favorite for me. If you can get your hands on one of Revlon's scented polishes, please do so! You know you wanna have an excuse to sniff your nails in public, too! ;P

NOTD: Maybelline Beach Plum

I've never heard of plums growing at beaches, but for a nail color like this, I'll let Maybelline slide!
This is Beach Plum, a limited edition polish from Maybelline's summer collection from two years ago. It's a creme polish, and it's a 2-coater! So pigmented & lovely!

It's more purple-y pink than it is plum, but I think that's what makes it a great color for the summer!
I wish Maybelline would've released another summer collection this year (really, I wish most of my favorite drugstore brands would've released gnarly summer collections...grrrr), but it's ok... I'll make due with my old wanna-be-plummy friend here.

NOTD: Revlon Nail Art FrenchMix in Sneak Peek

I looooove great drugstore finds! ♥
While minding my business in Rite Aid the other day, I stumbled upon this lovely nail art duo by Revlon! It was in it's own seasonal display, and calling my name... O_O

These Revlon Nail Art French Mix duos are meant to be used to create a colorful French manicure, but I'm not too fond of French manicures myself. Even though the colors are complimentary to each other, I love them more separately! My favorite color of the two would have to be the periwinkle blue color! It's such a pretty dusty blue!

(above is the periwinkle blue color in the shade)

Have any of you picked up one of the new Revlon Nail Art French Mix Duos? If so, which one caught your attention? =)

Yay! You can kinda sorta see my maxi skirt!

Bustier & Maxi Skirt - Urban Outfitters

Necklace - Forever 21

Now, my NOTD!!

Revlon Top Speed nail polish in Cloud! Great spring shade, I'd say.

It's like a mix between baby blue and light lavender. ♥

Here's the video showing this outfit! Enjoy my loves ^_^

Nail Of The Day/Week: Sinful Colors Innocent

Since this nail color has been getting so much love on my videos recently, I figured I'd do a blog post on it! I think I've done a blog post on this color before, but these pictures are waaaaay more color accurate!

This is Innocent by Sinful Colors. As you can see, the color is a bit of a darker green on the nails that what it appears to be in the bottle, which is a-ok with me! This shade of green is gorgeous! It's basically a bright lime green creme. I've been getting compliments on it left and right, even by MEN.

I used three coats to reach the opacity you see here. The formula of this polish isn't the best, so it was a bit of a hassle to apply, but the end result is worth the trouble ^_^

Sinful Colors polishes are $1.99 at Walgreens. If you're interested, I say go to your local Walgreens and take a looksie!

Outfit Of The Day: Mary-Kate Olsen Inspired!

heyyyyyy loves!!!

long time, no blog!
My computer has been "out of order" for over a week now, unfortunately, so I have been unable to blog and vlog as I would like to. My apologies for leaving you guys hanging for so long!

If anyone has any tips and tricks on how to use a Mac computer when it comes to editing videos & pictures please let me know! I'm using one for the time being until I can get my own computer up and running again, and I've been using only PCs all my life, so I need all the help I can get with this Mac! =\

Anyways, on to the outfit!

You love the granny swag, huh?

Mary-Kate Olsen is often seen wearing over-sized plaid shirts and sweaters, so I decided to wear a slightly over-sized flannel with a very over-sized sweater.

earrings - Forever 21
plaid flannel - Forever 21
shorts - Forever 21
boots - ALSO Forever 21 >_<
necklace - Jewelmint (c/o)

and here's a super unflattering pic of me (YAY)

my nail of the day (NOTD) is Wet n' Wild Blazed. I love the color, and it only costs 99 cents! ♥

Hope you like!

Nail Of The Day: Nicole by OPI Ornament For Each Other (Holiday 2011)

This is Ornament For Each Other, a new glitter polish from Nicole by OPI for one of their holiday collections for this year! There are two holiday collections by them, one being Kardashian Kolors, and I have info on that collection HERE. The collection this polish came from includes 3 other glitters, but I only bought 2 (so far...).

Ornament For Each Other is a mix of bright red glitter and a warm gold glitter. It's PERFECT for the holidays! It reminds me of Santa...
Of course, I can't wait til the holidays, so I'm rockin' this beauty now! I got this polish at Target for about 8 bucks. This collection was just released, so your local Target should still have it. However, there were only four of each color to a display. So if you want it, get it ASAP!

What do you think of this polish? Let me know below! ^_^

Outfit Of The Day 10/13/11 + China Glaze Traffic Jam

Soooo...the sickness that I thought was gone...is totally NOT.
Why me Baby Jesus??? :(

So I'm blogging while coughing, which is not as easy as it sounds. Especially whilst coughing, your whole body moves & shakes. Not a fun time...
BUT I told you lovely people that I would have this blog post up, so I'm putting it up! It's my first outfit of the day post that will be exclusive to my blog only. If you're subscribed to my youtube channel, you know I usually post an outfit of the day video there, and post the pictures of that same outfit here. From now on, I'm going to have more outfit of the day posts on my blog only. I'm pretty excited about doing this! I feel like it makes my blog a lil' more special ♥
Anyways, here it is!

Sweater - H&M
Necklace - Forever 21
Shoes - Forever 21
Belt - Thrift
Nails - China Glaze Skyscraper (ring finger), NYC Little Italy (middle), & Sally Hansen Shiny Penny (index pinky)

As you guys can see, I mixed a pastel with not only one, but two metallic colors- gold & silver! Yes, very odd combo, yet it WORKS! At least, I like to think so ; )
And here's a swatch of China Glaze Traffic Jam, one of the polishes I bought from Sallys recently. I mentioned it in a video, so I figured I'd swatch it in case anyone was interested in it! It's a very nice magenta-berry creme polish.

So what do you guys think of my outfit?
Also, what are your thoughts on China Glaze Traffic Jam?
Let me know below! =)

Nail Of The Day: China Glaze Skyscraper

Hello my loves!

Here's the nail of the day that was chosen by my Youtube subscribers!

This is Skyscraper from China Glaze's Metro collection for this fall. Ain't it a beauty?
It's a deep blue polish with silver glitter. VERY lovely!

It was between this and China Glaze Traffic Jam, which is a pinky-berry creme polish.
I should've known... glitter always triumphs! ^_^

What do you think of Skyscraper?

Nail Of The Day: Sally Hansen FIrst Kiss (Spring 2011 Tracey Reese Collection)

I'm not the biggest fan of pink polish, but for this baby I'll make an exception!

Pink salmon-y goodness ♥
It truly works with darker skin tones wonderfully!
I've worn this polish all week though...it's past chip-tastic at this point. I SERIOUSLY need to change my nail color >_<

what do you think of Sally Hansen's First Kiss?

Also, here's a song that's been stuck in my head all day by one of my favorite "unknown" artists Teedra Moses. The song is called "Last Day" ^_^

Nail Of The Day: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Going Green + Sally Hansen Crackle + GLITTER!

This has got to be one of my favorite NOTDs (nail of the day) in a while ^_^
On my nails, I'm wearing Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Going Green. On my thumb nail, I'm wearing Sally Hansen Antiqued Gold. On my ring ringer, I decided to add one of my favorite glitter polishes before adding the crackle overcoat. I used Hard Candy Break Up under the Sally Hansen Distressed Denim crackle.

Can you see the glitter? Can you seeee it???
Hardly, I'm sure...the sun kept deciding to play hide & seek while I was trying to take my pictures....darn you sun!

Also, I have recently been featured on the American Apparel site!
 WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!!!

Pretty Polish: American Apparel Summer Peach

I love wearing pastels in the summer time.
I especially love wearing the color peach....

It's definitely one of my favorite spring/summer time colors, and this light peach polish from American Apparel suits my liking just perfectly.

I find the contrast between this nail color and the color of my skin to be pretty awesome, but maybe that's just me!
How do you feel about pastels during the summer?
