Nail Of The Day: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Going Green + Sally Hansen Crackle + GLITTER!

This has got to be one of my favorite NOTDs (nail of the day) in a while ^_^
On my nails, I'm wearing Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Going Green. On my thumb nail, I'm wearing Sally Hansen Antiqued Gold. On my ring ringer, I decided to add one of my favorite glitter polishes before adding the crackle overcoat. I used Hard Candy Break Up under the Sally Hansen Distressed Denim crackle.

Can you see the glitter? Can you seeee it???
Hardly, I'm sure...the sun kept deciding to play hide & seek while I was trying to take my pictures....darn you sun!

Also, I have recently been featured on the American Apparel site!
 WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited! I've never been featured...anywhere. Ever.
My nail art using their Trench Coat nail polish was featured on their "Best of Seen and Submitted" section of their website!! :D

You can check out my nail art plus tons more on their site here:

you also can check my original post here:

Thank you so much for the feature American Apparel!!!

Oldie But Goodie: Half-Striped Nail Art

These pictures are SO old, but I figured I'd share them anyways.
I did this nail art lat year. I believe I even did a tutorial for it on my Youtube channel. This nail art was so easy, and took no time at all.
Please excuse the jacked up cuticles! These pictures were taken last year, before I knew about cuticle care...

The base color is American Apparel Trench Coat.I honestly can't remember what I used for the stripes. Sorry guys :(
More than likely I used nail art polishes. You can find those at the Dollar Tree if you're looking for any!
Hope you guys like this! Again...these nails were done in about 10-12 minutes, as far as I can remember. No time at all as far as nail art is concerned =)

ANOTHER Failed Attempt At Nail Art: Mac Surf Baby Inspired

WHY, OH WHY, MUST I BE SO FULL OF FAIL?!?!?!?!

Yesterday I tried to create some nail art inspired by the new Mac Surf Baby collection. Initially, I had colored stripes going down the nail vertically. The colors were the same colors that were used on the boxes the makeup items came in. However, that just seemed boring to me. Then I kept going, kept changing it, kept adding bits, and now I'm not satisfied >:(

I WILL have a successful looking mani, and do a freak'n tutorial!
Yes I can!!!

St. Patrick's Day Nail Art Fail..WHYYYYYY

Again...I FAIL with nail art.
What the heck maaaaan! I just can't get it right...My four leafed clovers look sad. That's my only real problem with it. I'm going to try one more time today to do this right because I was going to do a nail art tutorial on my Youtube channel if I liked it.Maybe it didn't turn out right because it was rushed? I dunno...I give up... for an hour..

Wonder Woman Nail Art FAIL

I can't believe I'm even posting this major FAIL.

Its a fail in so many different ways....
Instead of creating the Wonder Woman W's I created the retro version of the World Wrestling Federation W's...I forgot the extra line in-between the W's to make it look like her symbol..FAIL. I put my topcoat on too soon so the design is hella smudged..FAIL. This was free-handed, I should've had the design in my head before I even started -___- ...another fail!

It took me forever to do, so yea, I'm posting it anyways!!!

Fail........

It's ok though...I will soon prevail and create beautiful nail art again *runs to grab cotton balls and polish remover*

Happy Valentine's Day NOTD!

Hello all my Valentine's day lovers (& haters :P)! I hope everyone is having a good day today, whether you have a Valentine or not! Just think of it this way...God blessed you with another day to live, so there's no reason to complain! This holiday isn't an official holiday anyways..it's not like you get school or work off to celebrate..lol. Make this V-Day a Me-day if you don't have a Valentine. Treat yourself!

Anyways, on to my NOTD specifically for V-Day!

it started off like this:

This is OPI Big Hair...Big Nails. I LOVE this color! OPI calls the formula a "sorbet" which is basically another name for "jelly" in this case. And luckily, I am a jelly lover! This is from their Texas collection.

this pic was taken in the sunlight

And THIS is my Valentine/Anti-Valentine's Day mani! I used OPI Black Shatter for the heart. I really like how it looks, I just wish my heart looked more like a heart! Lol! Please ignore the dent on my ring finger..it happened while I was trying to make the heart. Did anyone else wear a special mani for today?

Throw Back: Easter Nail Art

I can't believe I never posted this picture! I did a nail art tutorial for this nail art design on my Youtube channel last Easter, but I never posted the picture on my blog =(
Here it is, in all its messy glory!

In case you can't tell, that's a chick on my index, flowers on my middle and pinky, and a heart on my ring finger. I did this nail art when I was very new to nails and nail art so its not my best, but I still love it =)

Katy Perry for OPI Collection - Black Shatter

If you're a fan of Katy Perry, then you know she always seems to be sporting some pretty awesome nail designs. Well did you know she did a nail polish collection with one of my favorite nail polish companies?! Katy Perry created a nail polish collection with OPI that includes four new nail polish colors and a black "crackle" polish, which is my favorite out of the collection. Last Friday Night, Not Like The Movies, Teenage Dream, and The One That Got Away are the four different polish colors included in the collection. In all honestly, those colors didn't really call to me. The only one I bought was the crackle polish, which is called Black Shatter.I was so happy to pick this one up because I've never owned a crackle polish before! When I was younger, I believe Cover Girl released a few crackle polishes. However, I was a child at the time, so I didn't have the money for it, and my mom didn't believe in buying nail polish for a child..go figure =\ Anyways, now I finally have my hands on my very own crackle polish, and I am so happy with it!
In case you didn't know, crackle polishes are a sort of topcoat. You apply the crackle topcoat over a base color, and the polish begins to make a cracked effect on the nail. It gives off this cool shattered look, leaving your nails looking edgy and rockin'!

This is OPI Black Shatter over Klean Color Pink Holo. I used one coat of Black Shatter. This polish dries matte, so if you want a shiny finish, I suggest you add a nice topcoat. Topcoat will also help make the polish stay on longer =)

Old Halloween NOTD

Hey hey! Here is a NOTD that I did months ago (for Halloween actually), but I didn't have a blog months ago, so I wanna share it today =) And, yes I know there's glitter everywhere..I did this mani before i knew about proper nail cleanup..give me a break por favor..ima Nail Newbie!

For this NOTD I used China Glaze Fairy Dust, an orange polish from Claire's (the sticker came off so I don't know the name of the polish), and three nail art polishes. As soon as i find the bottels I'll update this post with their brand name. They were from Sally's' if that helps any!
Hopefully, soon, I'll be doing a nail polish/nail stuff haul plus a clothing haul! Hope you guys like!

Hellloooo There

Hey all! Well..this is my first post EVER...& since I'm doing this last minute (shame shame) I'm just going to post a quick pic of my NOTD (Nail of the Day!). Actually..to be honest, this is the Nail Of The OTHER Day..my new mani sucks..sooo non-postable. By the way, I'm VERY new to the nail game. I'm JUST learning how to do proper nail clean up & what not, so please excuse the air bubbles & bad cleanup! I used China Glaze Good Witch for every nail, except the ring finger. For the hearts, I used China Glaze Spontaneous & for the dots I used China Glaze IV. As you can tell, I REALLY love China Glaze.
This mani was semi-inspired by Valentine's Day. I probably should do a full-on V-DAY MANI!! Or not..maybe an anti-vday >:) lol
